Lagerfeld’s newest handbag collection is a fitting tribute to Coco Chanel’s legacy: “Chanel used men’s underwear to make dresses,” Lagerfeld explained. “She had this boyish attitude, in fact it is the very spirit of Chanel. She got it from Boy Capel, the great love of her life.”
The new ‘Boy’ collection of Chanel handbags will bear the brand’s logo — stamped into the bottom of the bag, and will be available in ultra-stylish hues of red, grey, and ivory glazed calfskin, ranging in price from $2500 to $4300.
