Luxury Shangri-La Opens Hotel in Paris

The luxurious Shangri-La opens its first European property in Paris on December 17th. The 81-room luxury hotel showcases a historic architectural structure constructed in 1896 for Napoleon’s grand-nephew, Prince Roland Bonaparte, beautifully restored by architect Richard Martinet.

The Shangri-La features 27 elegantly designed suites which feature the superior design work of Pierre-Yves Rochon. A particularly grand attraction of the property is the penthouse, “Suite Panoramique” which measures over 100 square meters (1,076 square feet) offering a sweeping outdoor deck area with panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower.

Fine dining options at the Shangri-La Paris hotel include La Bauhinia restaurant and lounge offering 24-hour dining, gourmet French restaurant L’Abeille, and the city’s first gourmet Cantonese establishment Shang Palace, which opens in the first quarter of 2011.

The exquisite Shangri-La Paris property is located at 10 avenue d’Iéna, 75116 Paris, France.
